How old is your system?
How energy-efficient is your air conditioner?
Does it need frequent repairs?
Are replacement parts readily available?
Is the refrigerant piping suitable for modern refrigerants?
While replacing an air conditioning system is expensive, the time comes when maintaining an old system becomes too expensive. Repair costs become high and old air conditioners can use a tremendous amount of energy compared to modern energy-efficient air conditioners.
